On October 10th Ron Horne shared the following impression about our reunion activities in a message to Diana McGregor. His words seem a fitting way to close out the year long effort undertaken by the reunion committee

The  reunion  "was an enjoyable and quite fascinating  event. Thanks also for all the time you and others spent putting that together. It went off so smoothly - a clear indication the planning and prep work was thorough and well done.

When we were all in HS together our whole lives stretched out before us - unknown yet full of infinite potential.... Now we all look back to the lives we have made and looking forward into the future requires a different set of perspectives and preparation. Most people seemed happy with how things turned out for them which felt good.

My feeling is that genuine happiness and satisfaction with one's life is the most important (and hardest to achieve) goal and I seemed to sense a lot of that around though everyone has been through some of the challenging - sometimes overwhelming - developments life presents to us without our permission or any warning. There were some truly fascinating and interesting life stories as well. All in all a very good time that has given me much to think about all week - and beyond."

Ron, thanks for your thoughts … very well-put! My warm greetings to ALL. Bill Dickinson
(At the end of a month tour of the East Coast, I'm spending a couple days with Roger et al in Greensboro, NC. He's caught me up on everyone.)
